Oh yeah, you're right...did I say Judgment of Light? I meant Judgment of Justice. You should nerf Justice for sure.

Only if you have 2 or more ret.
Assuming equal buffs and gear...
Ret > Prot > Holy as far as typical judgment heal/mana procs go.

I guess that might explain my agro issues when we blasted kara last night, then again, standing there in almost full S4 gear (minus weapon and shoulders) and the next closest dps wasn't even in full purples.
Assuming this doesn't get changed, it's going to mean ret is going to want to avoid judging light, and that prot is going to want to put it up instead.

My healing numbers from 5/6 Sunwell.
JoL is 81% effective healing, and as much healing as a resto-shaman.
I think we have a culprit for the "6k TPS peak". Getting the numbers pulled out for Felmyst in particular.
I outhealed everyone but two resto shaman in Twins-level resto gear, and beat one of them.
With RF up.
We have a culprit.

I have to assume that's affecting us, but is it still there and will it continue to be there until the expansion?
On Live, Seal/Judge of Light are healing for half their listed tooltip values.

All healers get the threat prom their "remote" heals now, as well as direct. EG: Priest PoM = priest threat, not tank.
My average JoL proc was 585 healing, about 800 threat with RF up.
Which is "hundreds" of TPS, per DPS, at fights with substantial raid-wide damage.
I'll have a parse later today for my JoL threat at Felmyst - but it was four-figures, just from JoL.

Finally managed to parse the Felmyst log from Wednesday.
JoL was 3200 TPS Sustained over the course of two ground phases.
JoL healed for 287k effective over the fight, the vast majority of the TPS occurs during ground phase when melee are beating on Felmyst. Basically all of it.
Ground phases are 1 minute each, we did two ground phases, died on landing second time.
JoL was doing 3,200 TPS sustained

Yeah, even with gear that isn't quite as good as some of yours I did crazy well with JoL up. When I was MTing Gruul, the melee said that they could stand in cave-ins and I stayed a good 50k threat ahead of the feral OT and warglaive rogue... and I led the healing meters by a lot.

I'm going to assume the only way this is possible is if the heals caused by JoL are not affected by the threat modifier on healing spells.
Heals usually only cause .5 threat for each point healed. Paladin heals only cause .25 threat per point healed. Unless this has changed? It's been a while since I actively looked it up, but this was pretty well accepted.
So from what I can figure from the numbers being posted here, we're getting 1 threat for each point healed and then that's further multiplied by RF?
