To Jump or not to Jump
Last night I logged out without about 1 minute before server shutdown.
I chose my spot very carefully - on the Aldor elevator in Shattrath as it symbolises quite nicely the dilemma i face.
Should I stay Prot? (jump straight into it)
Should I go Holy? (Ascend)
Or Ret again? (straight back to where I started)
Anyone else reevaluating their spec?

No.
Anyway, lets just agree to disagree. Go away, or I'll just start reporting you to the mods for being a troll. In exchange, I'll stop pointing out your stupid in public.

All raid mobs are getting nerfed by 30%, although I wasn't planning to raid much until 80 anyway even if I do I don't think Kings is beneficial.
For a leveling, BoSanc > Kings IMO.
I'm planning to spec something like this:

I'll respec at 80 for raiding.

You're not going to be able to see everything that each tree has to offer yet. What I do know is that, even if you don't have a decent ret set at 70, you'll still be able to smash face decently.
Try things out. Test. There's still another month before the new content comes out, so there are only so many talents/skills you'll be able to try before then. Have some fun with it.
Nothing is certain, don't forget.

No pocket rets?
Nope, had one, have no clue where the hell he went. There are a couple ret pallies but they don't raid. I'm the only raiding tankadin. I never have to sit out for ANY fight

Most rets won't be taking kings either. Either 5 in Divine Strength and the rest in the Ret tree (there's a BUNCH to get), or another 3 points in Stoicism for PVP.
I honestly can't think of 5 points I can take out of the ret tree that wouldn't really hurt, at 70. Maybe PVE lvl 80 I'll have the points to spare, and that's only for PVE as PVP retadins will be using just enough points in Prot to go down to improved HoJ.

if you log in and fall to your death then go holy"it wasn't meant to be" if you fall and take dmg be a tank thats what they do take dmg and not die"
if you take no dmg and and are on the elevator chillin then go ret because they should never get hit.

I rolled a pally to tank with it. Mainly because I wanted a tank, but I couldn't stand leveling a warrior, and I found feral tanking to be very boring / noninteractive. I got lucky in that the 2.3 changes hit long before I hit 70, so the things I got to tank in "endgame", I did in relative-easymode. Still, the pally is the tank, and that's that.
My druid, on the other hand.. bye bye tree, hello moonkin. And shamelessly using all my formerly-resto epics as a nice starting point.
