Character login screen.

At Blizzcon Paris I asked the following question;

'What do you think about my idea?'

The previously stated idea was;

'I think there should be changes to the character login screen, so that all our characters can be sorted into an order or that you could add in some functionality to change the positions characters fill on the selection list.'

Hinting that they could just do it by 'character lvl * timeplayed' descending.

Point being that twink/bank/alt old main ect can be reordered.

They kept my question in the video.

However I got an excuse for not doing it pronto. hehe

What do you guys think and can i try get some of the community behind me, therefore POLL!

I agree, but don't think it's very important.

Sounds nice, the automated sorting wouldn't be the best, say if you switched mains, your old main would still be at the top of the list, and your new main would possibly be behind twinks, alts, etc.

but... it'd be nice, but not really worth the developement time IMHO, depending on how hard it would be to implement.

It's not that hard to simply click the toon you'd like to log into

My most played character is at the top anyway.

I like the idea. I find it mildly annoying that my paladin and lock will be the bottom two toons on my log in screen because they are recently transferred to that account or server. It makes absolutely no difference to my game play of course, I just like organizing.

I can see why this is considered a very low priority though.

Yeah its definately a low priority issue, and playing the game is just obviously more important, it just seems to me that it shouldn't be something that a gamer should bring up. It kinda should have existed from the start.

I moved my Paladin over to a PvE server about 6 months ago and now I finaly brought my priest over aswell, but there is a few characters inbetween the two and being the perfectionist that I am I deleted all off them except my bank char as she has alot of festival stuff and a nice guildbank.

I was hoping someone might admit to actually deleting a twink because it made there logon screen look messy. :p

I'd use it. My Shaman is 2nd on the list, and my Paladin is 4th. Agreed that it's not high priority though.

You know the real comedy about all this is that I looked like a complete idiot when I asked them the question. heheh

From what I can tell I'm the only person that they had to edit, I think I paused for a whole minute while I considered talking to the camera. LOL

I'd for sure use it. My old Warlock main barely even gets time to do daily quests atm, let alone actual playtime. Yet atm he is taking top billing.

I'd love to be able to move three of my characters on the login screen though. The others are very rarely played alts in comparison yet sit right in the middle.
