Guild name for Wrath
Moderators: Fridmarr, Worldie, Aergis, Sabindeus, PsiVen
I have always liked the guild name <Warfare>.
But the name of the top guild on our server horde side is <Legendary Incompetence>, I think that's a cool name.
Then there's <Hysteria> the name of my guild.

How about <We wiped on Chess>?
Seriously though how about
<Forlorn Hope>
In the days of muzzle-loading muskets it was most frequently used to refer to the first wave of soldiers attacking a breach in defences during a siege. It was likely that most members of the forlorn hope would be killed or wounded.
The intention was that some would survive long enough to seize a foothold that could be reinforced, or at least that a second wave with better prospects could be sent in while the defenders were reloading or engaged in mopping up the remnants of the first wave.
Today's history lesson was brought to yo uby the letters 'Q' and 'T' and the number '7'.

For a serious-but-not-overly-dramatic name/atmosphere, your best bet is just to pick one or two words that are fairly neutral. If you go too far into the medieval genre, you tend to hit what Dorvan was commenting on with the overdone names. Your might try just pulling up an interactive thesaurus and punching synonyms until you get referred to something you like.

A horde guild by this name was active for a few months on Illidan. I believe it actually broke up and disbanded without GM intervention, but I'm not entirely certain.moduspwnens wrote:< Come Honor Face >
Nah, you'd probably get banned. I still want to see it in-game, though.

255 characters is not enough to fit my alts' armories in.
