/crai *latter discussion not PG13*
I had to take my lip ring out today. I woke up, and my lip was swollen to some stupid degree. Makes me sad, because I liked how it looked, as well. It'd just reached the 6month old stage as well. =[ MAN I wish I knew what got it infected, so I can wage war against it (P.S. it wasn't me, I'm anal about hygiene, lol)
Just realised this thread had no point, so I'll make one.
What'ch'all think about piercings?

Piercings... I'm the kind that doesn't like more than one or two :p I had an earring but had to take it off for the same reason. Was considering one going through the ear but the arrowhead feel doesn't please me as much now.

I was suprised when I got mine done. Normally I don't like lip piercings, but a friend said it would suit me, and I do things by impulse a lot, and BAM, it looked really good. I'm actually pretty sad. =[
Oh, also, people that have metal faces? Not hot. The occasional piercing can look really good, but things like septums and super duper stretched ears are ick. Not really a fan of beauty spots either. =/
Although industrials generally look pretty good on the people that have them. Of which I will soon be one. \o/

Okay, so am I weird in thinking that would look REALLY fucking good? I say this because if you're willing to get it dyed that kind of colour on a whim, you're likely to change it again when the novelty of it wears off.

Your father's an ass.
If you're that concerned about your hair colour not going back to normal, use a non permanent dye. It might grip your hair depending on how blonde it is, but it'll mostly wash out, and it's not a permanent stain on the pigment like real dyes tend to leave.

I did find blue though, but my sister(we have the same hair) tried it and her hair went Pink.

Yes, it is. She's platinum blonde(mine's darker), and one day she decided to go goth and dyed it black.
The following week, dark blue
then red
then blue(it went pink)
then green
then pink
then she tried blonde straight from pink and it went orange
then she let it grow back to it's normal color.
All that in a single year...

How is it that you two can turn threads into an IM session?
And yeah, I've been lulling over getting my tongue done for years. Still not sure if I'll do it or not, have to think about whether or not it'll affect my bagpiping. But eh.
Piercings, done well and in moderation, are a turn-on for yours truly.

It's because we're awesome, okay?
What sort of mouthpiece do bagpipes have? I don't think having it pierced would effect a reed instrument, and I know that it doesn't do anything to brass instrument mouthpieces.
