GH and Rock Band kick my ass above medium.

I play bagpipes, and on a bagpipe, you don't use the pinky on your left hand, it's just worthless. So while I have super dexterity face-melting guitar hero skillz with my index, middle and ring finger, my pinky always f**ks me up.

Yeah, I originally wrote just rock band, then immediately realized I should be more specific and scrolled back and inserted guitar.

I've tried drums on rockband and I immediately turn into a flagellating downs kid. I got no timing or control on that shit. And forget about hitting the bass pedal; DO NOT WANT.

When the the band (my friends) get together to do the world tour, we force the same guy to do drums and he can barely get through hard songs. The best thing is when we have 5 people and we recruit the 5th person to just hit the bass pedal... things tend to go a bit better.

We usually have 5 people as well and rotate instuments but since no one else is willing to touch the drums I get to play the whole time.

I really think that the difficulty with drums is a full level higher than marked. (IE Drums on medium=guitar on hard.) I blame the bass pedal. More importantly I blame off-beat bass pedal. ><
