Disappointed in G4?

Postby Lightbeard » Wed Feb 27, 2008 6:29 am

Who is disapointed in g4 lately? i mean remember when G4 used to be about gaming. I (faked being sick to stay home) looked at the roster today i see 2 shows that actually deal with games (Xplay which sucks now and Cheat).

What are your thoughts on the recent state of G4

P.S. Xplay used to own :(

I remember when vinyl was played and when Tommorows World gave us valuable insights into future life.

Tommorrows World? Tommorrows Horseshit more like.

And the Flumps.

What's G4?

Attack of the Show is pretty much the only relevant content on G4 anymore. Xplay and Cheat are hardly ever current.

G4 covered the Adult Entertainment Expo last month. Gotta give them some points for that. Porn and gaming are related right?

I'm pissed that everytime I change the channel I see cops, wtf does that have to do with gaming ? It's that or ninja warrior on like 10 times a day. I like ninja warrior but not three hour blocks of it every freakin day. WTF happened to cinematek ? I used to love watching that but now it's almost never on. I loved watching Filter with Diane Mizota, damn she's a cutie and the show was entertaining.

They had to make MTV2 to play videos all the time. Maybe someday there will be a G42 that only plays stuff about games like G4 used to.

I remember the days when we used to play 45's and chill out ... I also remember the day that I got my first Nintendo Entertainment System.

No, not an SNES/N64/Gamecube... The ORIGINAL NES.

Duck Hunt and Super Mario Bros. FTMFW.

Spike, G4, all those entertainment shows (and sorry guys, BET too) are just starting to cater to what's popular in society. If they don't, people will lose interest and start watching other shit.

Ooh, I miss ye olde NES.

Used to be able to beat Super Mario in under 6 minutes every time.

Well I stopped watching MTV back in 92 when they started playing the same 10 videos all fricken day long. I tried it out again several years later and caught and episode of TRL, I wanted to punch just about everyone on the show in the face and kick a puppy.

I miss remote control and the VJ Idalis
