We had a slow news day up here... One of the largest French newspapers in Montreal planted a reporter looking for jobs, saying she couldn't speak French (we have this bill... Bill 101... to "save" the French language; it's pretty messed up. You can read about it here).

Anyways, the front page said:

Journal de Montreal wrote:Hard to be served in French in Montreal!

<<I'm sorry, I don't speak French>>

Our reporter found 15 people who didn't speak French in jobs around Montreal!

Imagine that... 15 people, out of just under 2 million, who don't speak French. Yeah, REALLY difficult to be served in the province's main language.

It was all set up anyways, but once the politicians get a hold of it, watch out. More language law debates... Which I think we're all tired of.
