My favorite part was when Candy Crowley happened to be on screen for CNN, and they started booing and screaming at her that it was her fault and throwing things at the screen.

I also like how there isn't a SINGLE non-white person in that entire auditorium.

In other news, Maryland has upheld their Gay Marriage law, and Colorado has voted to legalize Marajuana.

Maine and Washington passed Gay Marriage laws as well.

And Montana (I think) was against Marijuana.

WA Resident here <-- So proud to have voted FOR gay marriage and Pot legalization. Feels pretty nice being a part of forward change through a government system.

From what I've heard, these are some of the firsts from yesterday's Senate elections: First disabled woman, first openly gay woman, first asian woman, first female combat veteran.

New Hampshire first state with all-female Congressional delegation.

18 female Senators will be serving in 2013, a record high.


In other news, Puerto Rico voted narrowly in favour of changing its relationship to the US, and 65% said they would favour statehood rather than independance.

would have made our biggest cash crop into a viable taxable revenue source
