The second article, an opinion piece in a grossly biased conservative site, should really be called "People who don't really pay attention to politics, but call themselves Democrats, shocked and angered by new Tax Hikes".

Because really, using a forum on a liberal site, and twitter as your sources, is a step down in "integrity of sources" from using Maintankadin as a source for that.

Sometimes, the best way to convince the world how nuts these people are is just to give them the chance to talk and make a fool of themselves...

That was basically a good approximation of how the debt ceiling negotiations will go.

Oh, and if you go over to infowars, there are like 8 different articles gloating about how Alex Jones won the debate. Right between the articles about FEMA Death Camps and "proof" that vaccines are a hoax.

We should have just let them seceded.

Why would you ever need this modification to your AR-15?

Well threat per second would work as and explanation as well, just more on the ironic/sarcastic/humorous side.
Main Characters:
Nooska, Blood Elf BM/SV Hunter on Argent Dawn (EU)
Morosin, Bloody freezing orc death knight on Argent Dawn (EU)
Niisca, Shady forsaken "priest" on Argent Dawn (EU)

Keeper Emeritus of the BM hunters guide on Elitist Jerks and the wowhead version untill patch 5.3.

The big issue with all proposed gun control in the US is that, as far as I can tell, the semiautomatic pistols are the big killers. It's almost pointless to ban "assault weapons" or other silliness like RPGs and full machine guns (like the M60), they're not what's doing the damage.

Britain banned them, and it worked. I'd like to see somebody try the same in the US :)

Banning Handguns in a country of 53,000,000 when the handguns were already registered, and easy to track is a lot easier than trying to do the same in a country of 300,000,000 when not all states require handguns to be registered. Because of the way that England went about doing it, they were able to account for almost every single handgun in circulation that was legally owned.

In Ohio, you don't have to register any gun. it's not required. It's not even required when you are applying for a CCW to mention what handgun you would CCW. (at least it wasn't required when the law was first passed, and I was going through the course)

There are many steps that would need to be taken before a handgun ban would ever happen. This isn't me stumping about how I like to own my handguns. It's the simple logistics of the whole thing. You can't go from "no laws" to "Ban them ALL!" in one swoop. It wont work. It's unenforceable.

IF the goal is to remove guns from circulation, there are far more things that need to happen before a handgun ban. Registering Firearms, being a first step.
