We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Oddly, the video is from 81, but I was born in 83 and it hit #1 in 83.

So MT is Facebook now?

Donna Summer - Hot Stuff How fitting.

While trying to determine this recently without the handy wiki I found out that Felicia Day and I were born on the exact same date.

"Another Day in Paradise" by Phil Collins.
Per the Wiki
In the US, it was the final number one single of the 1980s on the Billboard Hot 100, and the first number one single of the 1990s.

*Addition*
LOL if I would have been born a week earlier it would have been
"We Didn't Start the Fire" Billy Joel
I love the youtube video with the Alliance Guild who did the video in Stormwind with the song..

Site you linked for non-US wouldn't load, so I got the UK no. 1 from Wikipedia.

The Power of Love
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr0xJBsVbZY

Biggest selling single of 1985, it seems.

Was curious, so I looked up the number one album - Like A Virgin.
I don't play WoW any more.

Some serious stuff out there... Amusingly, Wikipedia does not offer the top 100 for Belgium. For France, it was Barbara Streisand, with Woman in love.

Even more amusing, the next week was Eddie Mitchell, which I guess 95% of the poster wouldn't know jack *bleep* about: Couleur mente a l'eau.

That was the Frensh culture minute, thank you for your time!
When that day comes, seek all the light and wonder of this world, and fight.

Hellz yea!
I got "Money For Nothing" by Dire Straits
http://youtu.be/lAD6Obi7Cag
I always wondered why I liked that song....

Maybe that makes me partly responsible for the creation of this http://youtu.be/s6B4hVLBm1g (which I originally found in the Random Video Post)

Will edit when I get home, but for now:

"I Will Survive" - Gloria Gaynor

(I guess this goes with my BC motto of "Never die!")
