We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Bollywood remixes, GO!
Laura Marling. Heard her tonight on Last Call with Carson Daily, and fell in love with her voice. Youtube provided unintentional hilarity with a bollywood remix of an old school country/folk song... that still manages to sound amazing. The other songs of hers I've listened to are a bit downbeat and kinda depressing, but ... that voice. THAT. VOICE.

The Futureheads' This is Not the World. I like every song on this album - which is odd, because I find all their other albums very hit and miss.

3 singers... That's interesting. Their sound is definitely interesting, and I am checking them out, but I can't watch the videos. I almost burst out laughing when the guy with the dreads started singing on the one you linked, and I'm glad I gave it a minute, because the beginning was a little too Celine Dion for me.

yea, I suppose I should have mentioned to stay past the intro of that song. Its by far a slower song for them.

That is shockingly not an understatement.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought he looked hysterical at that point, with the fan blowing his dreads around. Part of me was fearful that willow smith was going to pop up and start screaming "Whip your hair back and forth!" But I have noticed that Performance music Videos like this haven't evolved much since the time of Korn, and Limp Bizkit, and they are still doing the same types of shenanigans.
I have listened to a lot of their stuff, and it's pretty interesting. not something I would listen to all the time, but not bad.

Holy balls! I didn't know Olivia Wilde was in a band!

Vs.

The resemblance around the eyes is downright uncanny. Same color and shape, same mouth, same chin, same-ish skin tone, same build... the nose is WAY different though.

I have been a huge fan of the Civil Wars for a year + now. I've mentioned it before. They are a tad different than my normal tastes. When they debuted this song, and then performed it on Unplugged, I've been stuck on it. I remember the original, and I love this more Sour Times Originally by Portishead.

If she had an album, I would absolutely buy it. If you like this kind of music, you might like Blackmore's Night.
