I'm with Nikachelle here, I feel shows like this perpetuate a not-necessarily-true stereotype, and only make it more annoying for actually socially competent geeks to be accepted by the mainstream public.

This show isn't about feeling good about the subjects, it's about making the viewer feel good about themselves by looking down on those poor unfortunate virgin basement dwelling nerds.
That's not helpful.

Well I find myself on the other camp, I'm excited to watch the show and will be rooting for those people; I think it's very brave of them even though some in there might be socially inept, to get the courage to try and find someone that shares their passion.

I was turned off by the guy doing the Chewbaka sound...then I thought, I make Aergis do the Murloc for me and then...sometimes he does the Chewbaka for me too

Agreed. I'm also not a fan of the Big Bang Theory for the same reasons.

I feel like I should get a t-shirt made for me that says "Not Socially Awkward, Just Fat".

So from this I should interpret that you look just like your avatar and are thus INVISIBLE?!?!?

Exactly. I'm a ninja special forces secret squirrel.

There are 6 billion people in this world, because Brekkie allows them to live.

Clearly did not allow them to live!

Have to do that for copyright reasons and to avoid paying for the use of licensed material.
- I'm not Jesus, but I can turn water into Kool-Aid.
- A Sergeant in motion outranks an officer who doesn't know what the hell is going on.
- A demolitions specialist at a flat run outranks everybody.

Lol like the episode where Wallowitz finally admits the reason Bernadette broke up with him the first time was because she caught him having sex with a Troll under the Bridge of Souls. Then he says, " In WoW you can actually have sex with trolls in the game" or something like that...which is not true unless you actually Role Play

Sometimes i dont even know what to think of that show tbh.
Dont get me wrong, i love it and its one of three series i follow religiously.
But some things i just find a bit insulting to gamers, but theres usually a lot more awesome stuff in it, and i definitely think you appreciate the show a lot more if you are familiar with gaming, science and the internet.
