Re: Forum Game: 5 movies you'll stop and watch
I didn't care for the fifth element. I also generally don't watch live television. If I have time to sit down and watch a couple hours of TV, I generally go to my DVR list.

My five are in no particular order,
Willow
The King and I
Bedknobs and Broomsticks
Jurassic Park
Any Alien or Predator Film
The Princess Bride also comes close as does Logans Run and An American Werewolf in London.

No Particular order:
Judge Dredd
Clue
The Big Lebowski
Gladiator
Aliens
Judge Dredd is a magnet of horribleness that I can't help but get sucked into. The Big Lebowski is the only movie on the list I own, which is a shame. I should get on the others.

Clue is definitely one of my "go-to" movies when I can't decide what else to watch, and Speed Racer is my favorite blu-ray at the moment just because of all the colors and bright lights (I like shiny /shrug) "OMG, was that a ninja?" "More like a 'non'-ja if you ask me..." I think if I put much more thought into it, my list would be well beyond five movies

I used to love Gladiator, until I was watching it for about the 80th time and realized something. They used stirrups.
That one anachronism wrecked the entire movie for me after that. Now I can't watch it anymore.

Re: Forum Game: 5 movies you'll stop and watch
I also don't have cable but movies I'd be likely to stop and watch would be..
A Knights Tale (Nothing like the underdog kicking some ass)
Robin Hood: Prince of Theives (Pretty good for an early 90's movie)
Son In Law (Just plain hilarious..)
Bulletproof Monk (Something about this movie has always been awesome to me)
The Karate Kid (The Original) Wax on....Wax off..
I figured I would use movies not already mentioned that I really like.

Idk, there's plenty of little anachronisms in that movie. (German shepherds, anyone?) Something like, Maximus pulls out an uzi would wreck the entire movie. But stirrups? Nah. Still one of my absolute top movies.
Also one Nika refused to watch for the longest time because she hates Russell Crowe. (See also: thinks Inception is bad because she hates Leo.)
