This clip is flying through the gamer community where a video game website host is interviewed on Fox News and a blatant hostile narrative is spewed out by the usual scumbags on Fox and Friends.

The latest Ctrl+Alt+Del comic parodied the interview, but it was sad because he didn't even need to exaggerate.

Ugh. That whole thing was awkward right from the get go. Plus the split-panel with the "geek" trying to talk about the merits of educational gaming with a sidescreen beside him blasting some Call of Duty game was... well obviously intended to cause the reaction they wanted, but really really poor visual journalism.

I liked the part when he tried to talk about how it was an art form and how video games could be used for inspirational and educational purposes, and so they played a clip of super mario next to him to discredit him while the host went "uh huh....uh huh...uh huh".

The real story here is that Fox and other cable news networks are doing this on a daily basis. This is media brainwashing of the highest order—the people who watch this show on a regular basis see this garbage every day. It seems absolutely outrageous to us, now that they’ve spoken about something we understand and care about, but this is standard order for these shows.

Having said that, I dont' find Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann, or Chris Matthews to be any less of a pile of gigantic asshats than Bill O'Reilly or Sean Hannity. The only difference is the flavor of Kool-Aid they're peddling.
