I can't believe that they didn't start an activist group with weekly meetings.

I like the guy in the comments who said that this 69-year-old grandmother should have just propelled herself through the wall with the force of her body.

So she locked the door and the lock broke trapping her?
Why did she lock the door if she lives alone? I guess you argue old age and it's just a habit.

I live alone and I don't even bother closing the bathroom door when I'm in there. It's led to many amusing situations when I had company over and forgot.

I wish my apartment had walls that thick. I'm assuming she screamed herself hoarse before falling back on pipe-banging. Then I wouldn't be forced to listen to my neighbors blaring country music at all hours of the night, every night, or the frat kids in the building next to mine having their loud parties.

Or churches whose practices involve, all day, very loud music, with open doors and a disregard for the clock. Who knew my first time on TV was as "the guy who sicced the cops on a church because he was annoyed by the noise".
