What a messed up ride Dollhouse was. Kinda crap, then steadily gets good, then gets really good, then gets kinda crap again, then turns up a little, then gets really bloody bad, then has a great finale episode.
I think Mr. Whedon honestly didn't know what to do with himself when he didn't get canceled first season.
