It is never acceptable for strangers to put their hands on children intimately in the name of "security". If you think I'm going to blow my child up with a bomb on their crotch, you're an idiot.

As for your second, it's why I have issues with strangers touching my crotch uninvited.

Just because someone does not agree with you means they are trolling. :?

I have no problem with the pat down procedure (whether or not I agree there should be a pat down at all is irrelevant at this point). Why would I? I will probably never see this person again in my life, this person probably does not want to do it,
it is just skin and flesh. If anything, blame evolution for creating a seemingly nifty place to hide a gun. Why are guys putting your dick on a pedestal?

Why aren't you?

Personally my dick wears a little crown and carries a little scepter for it is KING OF MY PANTS.

Out of curiosity, is there any search procedure that you *would* consider too invasive? What are your feelings on privacy in general?

You really don't get it, do you? People don't want strangers fondling their genitalia. Period. It's not something that we should be expected to be "OK" with, ever.

Since when did uninvited fondling not constitute a sexual assault, and why is it "ok" if "strangers that I'm never going to see again" do it? It's not a matter of putting your genitalia on a pedestal, it's a matter of not wanting to be sexually assaulted for the illusion of security. I'd also be willing to bet that there are quite a fucking few people working for the TSA that get their rocks off by being given carte blanche to fondle people.

Let me ask you this, d3licious. Have you ever been subject to one of their "enhanced patdowns"? Here you go: read this, then come back and tell me this is "perfectly fine".

My guess is that it will fall under "Blanket Searches" -

Fourth Amendment protects the 'right of the people to be secure in their persons . . . against unreasonable searches and seizures.' The essence of that protection is a prohibition against some modes of law enforcement because the cost of police intrusion into personal liberty is too high, even though the intrusion undoubtedly would result in an enormous boon to the public if the efficient apprehension of criminals were the sole criterion to be considered. 'The easiest course for [law enforcement] officials is not always one that our Constitution allows them to take.' Wolfish, 441 U.S. at 595 (Stevens, dissenting).

Bold is mine. There is the conflict. The easiest thing for the TSA to do would be strip everyone down naked and full cavity search. We are all safe now!! The question remains - at what price?

If not being fondled by security in an airport means that I have a chance to be blown to bits by someone with C4 in their rectum - I am willing to take that risk.

Speak for yourself.
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Excluding supermodels. I'd let a supermodel feel me up any day. Or Megan Fox. Either a supermodel or Megan Fox.

You are right, someone disagreeing isn't trolling. Your posts on the other hand are trolling. You offer nothing except blah blah blah what is the big deal blah blah blah.

Then you wouldn't have a problem getting in the machine then, so that they can photo your junk right? And don't buy the "it isn't stored" bit as there have been multiple leaks of the videos already.

Sorry, I like my privacy. I like my personal space. If you're not my wife or my doc (or myself), my groin area is specifically off limits to you.

Yes, I have been frisked by cops, and they even stopped short of that. Pat the hips, Pat the side, run the hand up the leg to make sure there is nothing else, and move on. This is NOT what the TSA is doing.

Nobody enjoys these searches. It is just a matter of me "dealing" with it. Also you must factor in WHY they are searching you. A cavity search before entering a prison is not the same as a cavity search to enter a public school. As to what I would consider too invasive? I do not know, I have never been put in such a situation as to find that defining point. I have seen a few of these searches take place in PDX, and I did not feel it was that bad. Fivelives has clearly taken an extreme stance, represented by the plethora of pictures and links he has posted, I just think there are better ways to dispute this new search process than resorting to pedobear references. I don't know if that answered your question or not.

Actually I would ask for the pat down before the scan. That is until any risks of the scan are identified.
Storing of the scans is the least of my worries. Why would you be worried about that?
