Postby Lightbeard » Wed Oct 13, 2010 12:02 pm

After an impressive debut at E3 a while back showing off the game's various new mechancis such as goo, tunnels, and all that jazz. How is everyone feeling about the game and it living up to Portal?

I'm asking for first impressions after the E3 showing.

Edit: Valve has various videos on the new features on their youtube channel.

Valve games are almost always top quality. They and Blizzard are my top 2 developers. I honestly couldn't say which is better.

100% agree. They've just announced DOTA 2 which I'm sure will be great.

It's one of the games I'm most eagerly anticipating.
Looking at the videos, there seem to be some real brain melting puzzles.

There are. The good news is that they are easily dispatched with a well placed portal near a vacuum tube. You can likely see it in the previously mentioned YouTube channel. It is hilarious.
Ghostcrawler: Right. If you are trying to AE tank and a bad dps is attacking the wrong target and dies, we call that justice.

I'm not even angry. I'm being so sincere right now. Even though you keep creating lame threads.

Remember when the thread was sliding towards a flame war and I said "Goodbye" and you were like "No way!" And then I was all "We pretended we were going to ban you?" That was great!

Pretty sure that's just a Portal joke, reminds me of the lyrics of the ending song anyway.
