Noe the Phillies just need to lay an egg for the rest of the series!
We live in a society where people born on third base constantly try to steal second, yet we expect people born with two strikes against them to hit a homerun on the first pitch.

Please tell me you typed this on a mobile device.
My iPod Touch loves to fix certain misspellings with "Noe" and it drives me nuts.

and "no" to the phillies laying an egg.
i want another parade. i didn't get to attend the one in 2008...waited 2 hours for the train..and then it was shut down because of how many people were attending the parade.
but it was sweet watching it on tv and seeing utley say, "world fucking champions".

I think Halliday is only the 7th pitcher to have a nono and a perfect game in the same season. The last time it was done was by Nolan Ryan in 1971 (I think) when he was with the Angels.
I'm still mad that Gallaraga's perfect game (yes it was perfect) got blown on a single bad call. That would have been history.
Edit: Another thing that irritates me is when people compare baseball and football (ie which game is tougher, which one deserves more pay, so on and so forth)

Thinking of starting WOW again....
