It will, is there not anyway you can make a business case for it due to podcasts?

Scooter occupies that section of my music library of stuff I shouldn't like but I do like.

I'm a big fan of Digitally Imported ( http://www.di.fm/ ). They just finished playing this week's A State Of Trance.

They have a large variety of trance stations, you can pretty much find ones that fit what you're looking for. They also partner with (or own, or were bought by?) Sky.fm, which has non-trance stuff like jazz or classical or even some pop music... but you said you were looking for Trance. :)

I found I also liked just downloading DJ Aspeth's mixes from her website and listening to those on loop, but I am probably an atypical trance listener.

Edit: DI.fm doesn't require itunes. I use it just fine with Winamp.

Shoutcast has a list of live DJ'd streaming radio stations and you can connect with one click: http://www.shoutcast.com

It's also not restricted by IP address.

No idea why, but none of the streams work. MP3 or Windows Media. Grrr.

Just a note, check your work policies. Many companies these days have policies against streaming media in for personal use. (Us IT guys want it to download porn... er Do research  )

Bandwidth for companies costs a lot more than it does for home use (At least where I am does) and streaming is a bandwidth hog. It will burn as much bandwidth as is can. If your company allows it good for you, otherwise watch yourself, around here it gets you time off without pay...
