when you get hacked, get everything restored by the GMs, go to buy an authenticator but they're all sold out?

'Cause I do. And my phone doesn't support the app, I've already checked.

Bah.

I was a little bit sad that my model phone is about the only Blackberry that isn't supported. I mean, I still love my Storm2 and don't regret it, besides, I practice safe surf and have all that antivirus jazz and I don't really care about my wow account anymore.

Someone in my guild recently got hacked.

And apparently they restored everything, but (we're guessing...and if he's telling the truth) he got hacked *AGAIN* after the restore...so they ended up restoring everything...*twice*.

He just made about 50k gold.

Well, I made sure everything was copasetic... With my monetary situation right now, I can't really afford to get an authenticator, seeing as S&H will also cost more than the dongle itself.

In any case, I'm pretty sure I know what caused it, because it's the only thing that I did differently in the past little while ... and that's have Magelo Sync open before I logged in. Everything's been restored, though, minus a couple of bags and my Runed Titanium Rod.

They were quick, too. Thursday night I got hacked, Friday evening I made the call/ticket/email, yesterday by noon everything was back.

Dongle: 6.50$
S&H: 10.76$ or something ridiculous.

I might get Stacy a plush toy or something too... And a mini-pet for me. Or 3.

Curse your Canadian geographical closeness to the US. Curse it to heck.

PS wtb Blackberry Storm support for the Authenticator app.

While we're on THAT subject ... can they develop the app for the LG Neon Blue, which is a newer phone than the Nokia 6555?

-sigh-

No. They're too busy making sparkly pony mounts to care about your account security.

I might be misunderstanding, but... there is no shipping and handling on authenticators.

You are misunderstanding quite well, actually. Not everyone lives in the United States.

I still get a kick out of how it costs 11 dollars to mail a piece of plastic with a circuit board in it.
