This year's Blizzcon costume.

I used the same template for the sketch that I did last year (I'm not much of an artist)
Image
The proportions on it are very anime-like but I kept the costume components in line with that (so for example the wings will go up to about mid-head and extend down to mid thigh or the knees, much longer looking on an actual person). I'm wanting to go around tomorrow and look at wing materials (ugggh, I just remembered I have D&D tomorrow, which means no time to go to the store... Maybe I will leave work early to do it). The basic idea is to use a PVC pipe frame with a PVC holder laced in to a corset, then foam to make the actual wing shape, and elongated turkey feathers over that. The feathering is going to take foooooreeeeeever.

I'm super excited. And the funny thing is that this costume is probably going to be cheaper than my bear one was. I can't sew (had to commission the bear) but I can engineer stuff.

You should pick up your competitors and throw them off the stage. Just hope their aren't any rogues running around with grenades.

I really hope we can get tickets this year, it's such a hassle to get tickets =( Never have it guaranteed, last year I barely made the cut off line to purchase tickets!!!

I third this motion. Make a half-sized ragdoll player in a recognizable T10 armor set and toss it!

I'd like to see mew try to lift Manifae.

I think anyone doing that would be an amazing feat. Vanifae's body guard is pretty overprotective and won't let anyone even get close.

The real beauty of it is that it's not that kind of Valkyr. It's going to be me and my superhot best friend doing Twin Valkyr. I'm going to have to stop slacking on the dieting to try to get anywhere close to on-par with her.

Edit: I'm still trying to convince her to get up on stage with me. If I can't then I seriously might do that ragdoll thing as a bit of a backup. I don't know if I will be able to go as far as making it look like it's in T10, but just some ragdoll and throwing it off the stage would be recognizable.

Manifae is Vanifae's huge black bodyguard.

You absolutely have to do this Mew.

Your superhot girlfriend can totally participate too, have her throw a doll into the audience too.
