For the moment, I have about a thousand awesome pictures my desktop could be. I really like the cycling background feature. Keeps things fresh.

I seriously liked the other avatar better. The new avatar suggests a darker mood, which I can only hope is temporary. It actually reminds me of an anime I once saw, although I cannot think of it specifically.
I also read the post from the Relationships thread which was obviously opened on your desktop, which appears to be a girl who is sad. Maybe Fivelives and Theck gave you advice you didn't appreciate, but the Relationships thread is about Relationships and there are other outlets if you need to talk to people.
Could you channel some of your energies into making some 3d art?

I hate those. I had to backdoor my way into the internet, and even then its just basic html with no flash or java. But hey, if I can look up news and go to TVTropes at work it's all good.
