I used to really enjoy having a nice eyecandy wallpaper until I realized that I never actually saw the wallpaper.

Like, I used to use programs like Glass2k under Win2K to make everything transparent so I could see the background, until I started going crosseyed trying to read code on top of the transparency.

Ah, transparencies. I used to go really overboard with them when I first got a graphics card that could deal with transparent windows. Here's an old one:

Dont really use my desktop, since WoW is always up in the way in fullscreen window. All i need is in my start menu instead.
