Cleaned it up a bit and got a new wallpaper.

I'd use that fences program, but I have enough issues with my comp without another program running in the background.

I really need to rebuild it.

On a slightly related note, how would I go about changing the color of the blue taskbar outside of the default XP colors?

It just doesn't match my wallpaper well and it's starting to bother me.

WinXP has garbage skin support. You either have to do what I did and find a custom made skin and manually apply it, which requires some finesse, or download a program like WindowBlinds to do it for you.

There are much better reasons to upgrade to 7 too :/

I'm still don't know of any good reason to upgrade, xp works, and it does what I need it to do. My computer's decent, but from what I've heard, both vista and 7 are both pretty memory intensive, and I have trouble with some 25 mans already. Dont need to put any more stress on my comp.

XP worked fine for me for years too, never wanted to upgrade to vista. Then I installed Win7, it was the easiest OS install I ever did, and my computer's performance went up in every app I use, from photoshop to WoW. It has also only crashed once in ~4 months of continuous use, where as my winxp and wow under winXP used to crash in some way around once a week.

I've always liked keeping things simple, and I change my theme's color to match the background.

As for the OS debate, I loved XP but 7 has me, I don't know if I could ever really go back.

I don't have any problems with 7, most people I know who have 7 prefer it to xp. But I'm just cheap/lazy and don't really think the upgrade is worth spending a couple hundred bucks on a 4 year old laptop.

Is there anything to emulate the icon menu at the bottom of Invis' centre screen on a PC (Win7)? Always like that particular bit on the mac or linux UI's that I've seen it.

As for controllers, I have a friend who DK tank's ICC with a 360 controller in place of his mouse pretty damn well. We cannot work out whether it really is a good control method or if he is so good that if he ever switched to a mouse proper he would be awesomeX2.

Yeah, I use one it's called Rocketdock. You can change the skin to look just like the apple one and you can move it to any corner you like, also full customization of the icons etc etc.

There's also one called Stardock that I used to use a long ass time ago.

Trying out this new thing "Rainmeter" instead of windows gadget+Rocketdock. Seems solid.

Sir, I approve of your desktop image. I must admit, I figured you would have Vanille.

This is the background I use at work. I have no idea why I haven't been told to take it off yet...
