Of the 10 minutes i've seen/played of FFXIII I love Sazh,.

Sazh and Fang are the only two characters I liked instantly. Vanille, Lightning, Hope, and Snow are too irrational.

I can agree with this sentiment.

Well, I should clarify.

Vanille still pisses me off. I think Square went way too far in making an obvious child have sex appeal.
Lightning's conversion to rationality felt forced.
Hope's conversion to rationality felt forced.
Snow's irrationality is at least rational within itself. His actions may be irrational, but his motives make sense.

True. Although for me, The graphics kept me happy until I really got into it.

Finished it today, just in time for God of War 3, and I really enjoyed it. I have some complaints (fuck the non-boss encounters in the last few chapters, I just ended up skipping what I could because I don't find 10 minute fights to be entertaining) but on a whole I had fun.

I know I'm a bit late to the party, but I just beat the game and have to say I loved it. The last FF that held my attention to the very end was IX. My only complaint is the fact it's game over if the leader dies and how quick some normal fights can turn into a game over. Many a frustrating fight towards the very end.
