tons of cancelled stories out there that isn't finished according to the manga/novels
(gief moar Juuni Kokki!!!)

Spice and Wolf season one and two has gone through novels 1 to 5, so there is still more than half of the story left...

though I hope it will get produced...it's a great story. :)

I read volume 1 over at http://www.baka-tsuki.org/, but most of the other ones aren't finished with the translating yet... :(

now thats a sad anime...

...and pretty old by now(I remember it being advertised when I was in Japan ages ago...)

I can recommend tokyo magnitude 8.0 too though, a slow non-action anime with a nice story!

the new evangelion is pretty angelic and cataclysmic...the old one too though...

new one is better animated, even though they changed the story a bit...

@.@ I watched it once and understood it completely, other people were so frickin confused. They were like, 'What is an AT Field?' 'What is the lance of Longinus?' 'What does that girl have to do with the show?!'

I just found myself asking "When does Shinji stop being a whiner?" Unfortunately, the answer is "Never."

It's so far my favorite manga. Great martial arts. Great story line. And loli of course!

Yes I forgot to mention why it's my fav. The humor is great! I often end up bursting into a fit of laughter while reading it at my desk and I get funny looks from co-workers.

That guy Niijima who used to bully Kenichi is hilarious.

My picks from the new season are Kampfer (brainless booby action), To Aru Kagaku no Railgun, and the new Darker Than Black. But then again, I'll be watching almost everything, because I do this for a living. :P

It doesn't necessarily pay very well in the current economy, but I enjoy the hell out of it and can't complain.

I also like spinoffs when they concentrate on the best character and aren't dragged down by Index. :)

I assume it's a reviewing job?

Not really as good as you'd think. You have to watch stuff you'd otherwise wouldn't touch with a barge pole, and that takes a LOT of willpower.

I do news, reviews, previews, promotions, the whole shebang.

I've been doing reviews for years, and what you do is grow a thick skin. I actually enjoy watching even the bad stuff, because that means I get to pull out my more colorful vocabulary when I talk about it.

Currently, I work for sidereel.com, so you can find some of my anime reviews and a couple of regular TV reviews there. I only started there a month ago, though, so most of my work has been fixing up their anime site and only a little bit of actual reviewing. They plan on opening a new site called AnimeReel.com just for me, though, so I'll be sure to point you guys to it when it opens.

In a previous life, I was one of the regular reviewers for Newtype USA Magazine, and I still occasionally write reviews and misc. for the MegaTokyo webcomic. I really should get back to writing for MT...
