Does Gruul Parry?

I either am too retarded to read or the info I have is incomplete. Can Gruul parry attacks? His attack is on a 2s timer, but I could swear I've seen he hit me twice in a second. This led to a small discussion with a melee dpser who would not move back to his back after a cave in, but I did felt gibbed. parrygib at growth 12 isn't funtimes.
