Still can't taunt off npcs

Supposedly this was fixed, and I saw th at other thread is locked but I cannot taunt mobs off the npcs on the trash which is really annoying especially when trying to get gargoyles in the back down.

If this was fixed it currently isn't working. Has anyone else successfully taunted a mob off an npc on the trash waves?

The only time I try this is during the 3rd and 4th boss waves.

You have to manually target the NPC for the taunt to work. click the garg you want to taunt, press f (or what key you have assigned for assist) taunt and he comes running towards you.

Ahh I didn't think about the fact my macro might be screwing with that. I also don't even think I have assist bound anymore so I will check into that. Thanks.
