Ancient Mine Nodes

Okay, where do you find these in Hyjal? We downed Rage last night and I couldn't seem to find any? Are they up the path where the undead come from? In the Alliance camp?

They spawn when you talk to Jaina, after killing Anetheron. You don't get any for Rage (or Kaz'rogal, for that matter).

Each vein has 2-4 taps, and each tap can produce one uncommon, rare, or epic quality gems. I believe there are usually ~4 nodes which spawn both times you move from one camp to the next (Alliance to Horde, then Horde to Night Elf). (And our first week killing Anetheran we litterally mined 0 epic gems, so you do occasionally get screwed over by the dice on these).

Not strictly true. You get some for killing Rage/Aneth, and some for killing Kaz/Azgalor. They appear after you talk to Jaina and the second set appears after you talk to Thrall.

Eh, two ways of saying the same thing. You don't get any when you kill Rage, you don't get any when you kill Kaz. You have to kill Rage and Kaz to get to the bosses after them, but if you don't do the bosses afterward you don't get anything.

After you kill Azgalor, run into Archimonde while people are mining, you get 500 veins, true story.

I agree. Tell your healers to stand in the water by the world tree, it gives +500 mana regeneration, i know from experience.

Tell your air burst targets to run to the main tank, even if they have to go through Doomfire to get there. Profit for all!
