Doomfire
Is there a trick too this thing? I swear we wipe on these things everytime. We spread out into 4 seperate groups. Everyone has at least 1 healer/decurser and most have 2, but some asshat always gets killed by the doomfire. Our main problem seems to be when it wraps around a different group, so they can't run backwards..... any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks

yeah, there is a trick to it.
Get rid of the people who keep failing more than 10 times. Nah, everyone has to learn it, just they are being unbelievably stubborn/unwilling to move, if someone messes up 5 times during an attempt, he gets kicked from that night's attempt and we do it with 24-20 people, if he wants to see the boss die, he has to atleast attempt to stay alive.
As soon as the fear cooldown is up, noone should be near a doomfire so that they will get feared into it. If they are too close, then they will get the debuff and will be burning. It's not a dps race, so you can afford a bit of "downtime" because people are dodging the fires.
pvp trinket helps a ton, also the class specific "fear-removers" do wonders.

Equip PVP trinkets. Be ready to bubble/iceblock before you go into the fire if that option is available.
Run away from Archi rather than sideways when avoiding the fire.
Not sure what else to suggest. It's never hit me personally although a couple of guys occasionally die because they won't move until they finish their spell cast.

Once your DPS realizes that 10 minutes is more than enough time to kill Archi and that running away from doomfire and surviving is more important you'll kill him. If that doesn't work you can try the burn strat. Stack 4-5 shamans who know how to drop a tremor totem right as fear is being cast and have the groups hug doomfires. That strat basically takes some luck and is based on the fact that archi will be about a 4-5 minute kill with your DPS nuking the crap out of him.
