Tanking Hyrdross and tanking the 4 adds.

Well my guild is killing lurker and very close to killing tidewalker, so hydross is next. We seem to have bad luck keeping warriors around so our plate tanks are paladins (2 of them).

I myself, have all the nature resist gear and the other has all the frost resist gear. If our resist is higher than any other tank then we would take less dmg from adds than using some other tanks with 1-1 frost/nature gear.

Can it be done? Can 1 Paladin tanks all 4 adds and hydross in full nature, then the other do the same in full frost?

Seems like it would be easier to aoe them all down and overall less damage is done.

Please dont chew me out because I have not fought him yet, so im asking for someone's thoughts.

The latter. You don't have to be at the resist cap to tank Hydross but you do want to be un-critable.

Why? Because with 365 res, you will resist 75% even of crits, anyway. Getting 50% resists but no crits has the same result, but will occasionally be mor likely.

It would be tough to tank all the adds and hydross and not have both max resist and being uncritable. Try using resilience to make up on being uncritable with less then 490 defense, especially http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32068
