SSC Without Resist Set?

Our first time downing hydross I had 175/175 Frost/Nature resists. (I'm at about 250/250 now that I've had more time to track down greens)

I tank all 4 adds. Be careful gimping your spell damage, its pretty important for tanking the adds.

I've never used any resist for tanking the adds, though I generally have a dps warrior helping.

My guilds MT forgot to put on his resist gear (Nature) and he is a Night Elf and our Frost tank had his on and we one shotted Hydross, was pretty funny too and we are 3/6 SSC and 3/4 TK

We did this fight me tankin nature (not cap'd nature resist) and the frost tank (not cap'd frost resist), both cap'd defense. The normal frost tank wasnt there, so the MT put on his frost gear and i put on my uncomplete nature gear. (Scryer neck, 3 wildguard pieces.) 1 shotted him, just early transitions at times. Tho my guild is 4/5 hyjal and 4/9 BT.

I only ever tanked AOE tanked all four adds + hydross on transitions (until res tank pulled him off) never used any res, never had totems/aura up.

they hit like pansys until the mark hits 100%

I didn't use any resist gear until one week when a bunch of stuff showed up in my mailbox frmo the guild bank.
