If you had shadow prot on I think you probably just got lucky with dodge/parry then a resist. The chances of avoiding that much are small but it's not unreasonable.

Any melee attacker in front of Prince will cause parries and hasted attacks. The only time I have ever actually seen a parry gid is when a duel wield dps is in position to be parried. Parries from a single tanks are just not significant on any boss.

I've never been parried when standing behind bosses even on fights like attunmen where I've also be standing where the boss model and my own over lap. Have your melee watch for parries and if they see them adjust till they don't anymore.
