Targetting Macros

[BubbaBill]

We have a few DPSers that are slow to change targets. I was wondering if any of you that are good with macros can verify the following thoughts.

CURATOR

/target Curator
/target Astral Flare
/cast SPELL_NAME

My thoughts are this should target a flare if there are any up otherwise will target Curator, then cast the spell. I know they made some changes with /target for dead mobs. Hopefully this will work and not pick up dead flares.

ILLHOOF
/target Terrestian Illhoof(sp*)
/target Demon Chains
/cast SPELL_NAME

Same idea as above target chains if any exist otherwise target Illhoof.

Do these look solid?

All our mellee DPS do alot of PvP and have pretty good reaction time for Target changes. But our Casters are often slow to react in these 2 fights.

well, this one does the same.

The ONLY problem is that it splits the DPS on the flares. Probably doesn't matter if you've got heavy dps as they won't be up long but just a heads up in that regard

We have enough DPS that there's only ever 1 flare up at a time but just barely. Splitting DPS between multiple flares shouldn't be a problem.

Oh one other side note. I've switched to using targetexact because one of the hunters named her kitty Demon
