Best group setup
What is the best 5 man setup for heriocs? Considering your wellgeared for the instance and can comfortably breeze through it, so survivability is not an issue. I'm thinking of the best setup for speedy HC clearings. Guess there's some differences depending on wether the isntance is caster or melee heavy + other minor differences, but throw those on the boat and just go for a general "Optimal 5 man speedrun setup".
Personally I've had really good experience with the 3 setups below:
Pallytank
Ele shammy
Boomkin
Mage
Healer
Pallytank
enh shammy
DPS warrior
Rogue
Healer
Pallytank
SPriest
Lock
Lock
Healer
As for healer, I haven't seen much of a difference really, as long as they can keep the group up and can do so without drinking (much).
I read through 5 pages of search results to see if there was any other threads on this, but I couldnt find anything, so I'm sorry if I'm beating a dead horse here.

I've done every heroic in the game outside of MrT with the same group setup.
Myself (Tankadin)
sPriest
Arms Warrior
Enh Shaman
Holy Priest
All of us in Kara/badge gear. Only thing I ever had a problem with was either Mana Tombs or Crypts, can't remember which one. In MrT, I replaced the shaman with a mage. EZmode.

Is there any of the healing classes that bring anything to the table that increase DPS significantly?
From what I'm seeing it's all about maximising DPS, since Tanking and Healing in my case normally have been adequate for the DPS to go more or less balls to the wall anyways, and should they draw aggro it normally dies so quickly afterwards they dont ge too many hits. But it's a HoJ, BoP and Taunting frenzy somtimes, thats for sure. So some setups allows for fast clearing from AoEing several groups simultaniously while other has added singletarget DPS that downs bosses and tougher mobs in notime.

resto shaman is always the best choice hands down ALWAYS no dispute.
WRath of air more threat.
bloodlust
they're dps is better than holy paladin or even a resto druid
Even if you have an elemetnal shaman a resto shaman is still better for extra bloodlust totems and such.
And every group needs a shadowpriest to be the most efficient.

A lot of it depends on the instance. If I'm running Shattered Halls, give me a mage and 2 locks for my DPS. If I'm running Mana Tombs, give me an enhancement shaman, a warrior, and a rogue. Really 5 mans are so easy in every case as long as you have good players, it doesn't even matter what classes you bring.

21 minute h spens run:
Tankadin
Retadin
Lock
Spriest
Restosham
41 minute h shalls
Tankadin
Lock

Restosham
I strongly recomend bringing a restosham as a healer for heroics. THey can just manatide you before pulls so no drinkey
. Running with a ret-adin is awesome too. It greatly ups your threat. Lock is self explanitory lolseed + 4-5 mobs to hit = 2kdps.

Heroic SP in 16 minutes, Heroic Mech in 22 Minutes...
It's unbelieveable how fast you can farm with 3 seeds going off at the same time, everytime.
Wow!

That was cheating. But I did hRamparts once with three magi so I can't say too much.

In most cases I would agree with you but not for MgT. In MgT, IME, if you don't have enough CC you aren't going past the third boss.

Prot Pally (me)
Boonkin

Ele Shaman
Holy Pally
We aoe pulled everything and completed it in 21mins..
It was an amazing run..
I must add the the Boomkins and Shaman were very geared.
I wish all pug grps went that well..

That's insane. A sixteen minute Slave Pens run? Are you sure it was on heroic?!?
Just teasing. But honestly, that's amazing.
My best runs are always with the people I know. It's much easier to communicate when you're used to dealing with each other. So for me, the best group always involves, me tanking, a rogue, an enhance shammy, a mage and a random healer.
