could you guys check my gear and let me know if i should be good to start heroics. i tried and got laughed out of a party? so i don't know? But they were in all epics. thanks guys

Which heroic?

Ive been able to tank the easier ones no problem so far, and my party is equal geared to me. AoE tanking shattered halls is a different story.

I was just reading another post that said to start out in underbog and mech so i'm gonna try those and see what happens.

Mech isnt too bad with a warlock, UB, Slavepens, Ramparts are all pretty easy.

I truly don't know why people say this about Underbog. If you're a marginally-geared tank, the bog giants are going to beat the guts out of you.

Mechanar is pretty doable. Bring a shaman, rogue or warrior to shut down the destroyers' Charged Fist ability, and a warlock to enslave the tinkers, and you'll do well.

For your absolute first run, just to get some confidence and experience, get a group with two magi and maybe even another CC class, and roll through the Slave Pens. Virtually everything in there is humanoid; with two polymorphs you'll destroy the place.

I seemed to tank them fine in worse gear then I have now. Your healer just has to spam heals nonstop. yeah its not easy, but there also arent that many of them

The giant boglords got nerfed a LOT, however you want good dps, otherwise, it grows too big, and no one can tank it for long.

A couple weeks ago I was getting manhandled by those bog lords. Unfortunately I don't remember how many grows they reached, but my healer could not keep me up.

It was a complete pug, with a dps warrior not using Tclap or Demo Shout, and a shaman healer. I'm pretty sure he was reactively healing me because a few days before that run we made it past those giants.
