Ogre in SL
Hi!
The Ogre boss handed my ass to me just recently. Me and 4 guildmates was supposed to to the daily quest in SL today and they wanted me as a tank. I said that the Ogre could be tricky, but I joined to finish that quest.
Now, he burns all my mana, even if I have BoW up I have to use all mana for HS and JoR. Sometimes I can´t even afford to taunt him back! It´s very bad if I have to chain manapots, even if I drink some pots he will burn that mana on the next MC. What should I do? I think that it would be possible with my gear, but it doesn´t seems so...
EDIT:
Armory hasn´t been updated since the latset patch, so I post my stats here:
13267 Health Unbuffed
4488 Mana Unbuffed
492 Defense
14323 Armor
17.61% Dodge
15.68% Parry
20.70% Block
174 Spelldamage (Soon to be 214 when I enchant my mace)

This is a known issue and no one is working to fix it.
Nothing can be done except wearing mp5 gear for the fight, drinking mana pots,
bandaging and telling your dps to not touch the boss after funtime.
No amount of tank gear is going to help you (as long as it's "enough" for the instance).
I had a mage and hunter die after 2nd or 3rd funtime, and the other hunter died when boss was at 10% or so.
Two-manned from there on with a holy pala.

I feel your pain, the ogre held my group back for about an hour the other night. Finally I told the group I was going to tank him on the platform with my back to the door. Told people to let me build aggro for a few seconds then dps. Also told them to bandage themselves after the MC, and told the healer to heal me then himself if needed and then heal me again. That worked pretty well and we got him on the first try. Telling the dps to bandage gives u time to build aggro after MC and takes the pressure off the healer to keep everyone up. Haven't tried it since but it seemed like a pretty good way to do it.
