Imp. Ret Aura and Vindication vs 1H Spec.

After looking into the first two Talents, I'm thinking that 44/17 would be better than my 49/12 build right now.

Any words from experienced Tankadins, such as Lore(only name I really know)?

I'm not keen on either of those Ret talents. Improved Retribution Aura would be nice if we still had colossal mana problems, but now that we can spam Consecration pretty much non-stop? Eh.

Also, once your gear starts getting good, half of incoming attacks don't even touch you - which is wonderful news for your healer but it means you get less and less benefit from Ret Aura.

As for Vindication, I've read that it gives nice benefits against the trash in heroics (like the dreaded Bog Lords) but all instance and raid bosses seem to be immune to it.

(WoWhead's loading incredibly slowly for me right now - what are you losing in Prot to get those two? 1-H Spec?)

Considering losing, but yes, 1H Spec.

I have a 44/17 build but the 3 pts in Precision I have in 1h spec instead. I think Imprv Ret. Aura +vindication is better than precision and 2/5 1h spec....at least for 5 mans. If you were primarly raiding then id go with 49/12 since Vindication doesnt do anything in raids.
