So many people on the board are envious of your position, in that they want to tank but are shoehorned into healing, was my meaning. It's like you're waving bacon in front of them and then throwing it away instead of eating it yourself.
Mmm. Bacon.

PvP Prot is going to be very viable imo. If the SotR change and the stupid short HoJ cooldown stays, we'll be able to lockdown a healer like a prot warrior.

I'm already switching between prot for 5/10s and ret for 25s, this will just make my life a bit easier and cheaper.
I actually don't mind soloing as prot at all so I imagine that once I am a bit more comfortable with ret I'll be prot most of the time.
I'm leveling a priest in case I get the urge to heal, mastering 2 specs per toon is enough.

Prot/ret on the pally, Frost DPS/Frost Tank on the DK
As much as I used to like healing in BC and Vanilla, I just cannot abide it anymore.

Retribution for me, but that probably won't come up too often. I'm more excited about it for my Restoration Druid, if she can swap to feral or moonkin for daily questing I'd be happy.
Edit: Actually, Protection with PoJ and Protection without PoJ. That'd be fun to switch between them easily.

for those going ret, assuming for 25mans, how does your dps stack up with the others?
ive seen our ret pallies just look bad compared to other melee classes...i think that id rather do ret than holy, and while naxx is farm - i could pick up some nice stuff.
