Yeah, although Divinity looks promising at first glance I'm thinking it's going to be more of a holy talent. I can't remember the last time I dropped below 80% and didnt get spammed with heals to the point I was getting overhealed.
I don't really see Divinity contributing to anything but more overheals on oneself, it's not really a talent that will make or break you needing less heals to the point where it matters.
I'll probably be putting 2 points into DG (seems worthwhile unless you do nothing but maintank everything all the time) and I may toss the other two into imp HoJ, having it on a 20 second CD seems fairly worthwhile to me, moreso than an extra 2% to incoming heals anyhow.
But, of course this is all just speculation and opinions with no math whatsoever to back it up, so if anyone thinks that an extra 2, 4, or even 5% incoming heals will save your life, feel free to argue my alleged spec.

This is probably what I will go for:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sVZ0xVA0uTuIIRGoxsb0b
Reckoning being a filler talent more or less.

I'm probably going to end up 5 in Divinity, my same 13 in ret (Parry, 1/2 imp judge, hotc, imp might, poj), and the last four points in some combination of DG/Guardian's Favor/Imp HoJ.

I'll probably, if things stay as they are at this stage, go with a 0/53/18 build. SotP just never really grabbed me and I loves me some PoJ entirely without any real logical reason, I just do!

DG is in there because we have 4 tanks in our guild, one of each class, and i'm sure there will be some bosses in Ulduar better suited to tanks other than me, on progression content being able to throw a 60% shield wall on whoever is tanking the boss in addition to his own CD's appeals to me.

For those curious, the prereqs linking reckoning, argent defender, guarded by the light and judgement of the just is because MMO-Champ decided to shift the pre-req linking sanc, holy shield, etc over 1 column.
In the MMO calculator it is currently possible to pick up holy shield with no sanc, etc up the tree.
Way to shift prereq code, mmochamp.
I'm probably going to sit on a build of:
0/53/18

I am liking that spec but with a minor change of dropping imp might and putting it into hotc. Course I would have 1 point left over so i will just toss it into benediction for shits and giggles.

I really like that spec. I'll probably be going with that myself.

as we are in the midsts of 'building' the guild(after lots of drama caused basicly 2 splits), I have a tendency to be with lesser geared healers
so i'll probably take something like
http://www.war-tools.com/t61523.html?b= ... 320202003o
till they catch up in gear at least
unless we get our 11pt talent and it's cool

Using this on PTR now, and hoepfully it stays up a bit better I can test more. Being on a pvp server, this build will lend to some dps, and I am interested how the tps will play out.

Not sure if this has been said on the forums already but do Dinivity's and Imp. Devotion Aura's healing received bonuses stack? If they do... /drool

The change to DG going from unlimited damage to only absorbing 300% of the Paladin's max health makes the talent fairly meh in my opinion.

Currently looking at:
http://www.war-tools.com/t61523.html?b=9zc50053522310231333312321511300302003o
May swap the 2 points in DG for Divinity if it turns out that DG is meh with the change. Probably won't.
As far as my dual(PVE Ret) spec, I'm considering this:

A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government. – Thomas Jefferson

In a 25-man raid, yeah ... not so useful (3750 dmg/person). In a 10-man, though, 90k damage is 10k per person (since you are immune). It still looks to be an excellent off-tanking utility:
- Sarth+X: help absorb some damage on a breath.
- Sapphiron, or when people get iceblocked on KT, it could help lessen healing load.
- before a web wrap on Maexxna: Reduce the damage that the MT is taking
- Bubble + HoSac probably still synergizes well
- Bubble during a vortex phase in Malygos P1
- Bubble OTing the achievement for Faerlina? I'm stretching there.
- Reduce damage taken during Loatheb's Doom
- Reduce the tank's damage on Thaddius, letting your healers heal less and DPS more.
I don't think "raid damage" needs to be evenly distributed for this talent to work, and thus it's still sounding like a good "reduce healing load" talent.
