Exactly. Make sure you get both.

And if you are the only pally that always shows up to raids?

His answer is going to be Battle Shout I think. I'm going to preemptively respond to that with

- Hunters standing at max range.
- Something happens to the DPS warrior and poof goes the shout when it fades.
- Guys dps'ing other adds on the other side of the room won't get the shout.

They would need improved BS and additonally a dps warrior which raids may not have.

Or have connection problems, get kicked offline cause of weather/natural disasters. And those are the Pallies that have the Imp Blessings, I guess we should never use those for, ya know, raid dps or anything?

We'll I guess you'd be really screwed if any of those things happened to your prot pally/main tank. no kings for your off tank who just had a temporary promotion, is probably less geared and needs it even more than you would. Actually from what you just said that's a great argument for making sure that every pally other than the primary maintankidan has kings.

What other prot related talents can you not pick up while getting Kings??

That was the question in my original post.

That's something I do agree with. Every Pally should have Kings unless things change.

Dual specs makes this point moot. You can have a spec with kings and one without....just switch specs to buff.

And should you switch back you loss that buff not to mention if you use two prot specs you will lose a farming/soling ret spec.

So, if I switch to a different spec, buff my certain folks with kings and then switch back to a prot spec...all the buffs I just did go away? That seems kind of like a coding nightmare.

As for losing a farming spec....Prot is actually now really excellent for farming.

You lose the buff on youself, but what about the rest of the raid?

That buff is kings, I made no statement that it was self only.

I am not sure if yo are being unclear or I am an idiot and not understanding your words.

1) switch specs to have kings
2) I buff Priests with kings
3) I then switch back to a tanking spec

Do priests lose the kings buff as soon as I switch specs?
