Regarding Paladin vs Warrior threads

Or Paladin vs Druid, or Paladin vs Death Knight, etc.

Balance testing hasn't started in the beta yet. Until it has, comparing one class to the other from a perspective of which class will be better at a certain task is pointless. Ghostcrawler has stated several times that they're working on getting the proper feel for each class down first; making everything fun to play. Once they've got that nailed down, and start working on tweaking the actual numbers, then feel free to post your precise calculations on which class takes more damage, does more threat, or whatever. Until then, those discussions tend to lead to angry anti-Warrior posts (or angry "They haven't started balance testing yet" posts).

(Note since there's been some confusion: I'm not saying you shouldn't post any class comparisons. Just please keep the above in mind when posting them, and try to stay constructive. Blizzard IS reading over sites such as this one at the moment)

In addition, remember that Warriors (and Druids, and Death Knights) are not our enemies. We're all tanks, who want to tank things. There is absolutely no reason to be resentful or hostile towards them. I've been seeing a lot of Warrior hate on these boards lately. Consider this a warning; action will be taken if it keeps up.
