I added a little section for various MT trinkets which won't be ranked for obvious reasons so please chime in with more and I edited the rings, necks and boots. I feel I under-valued the exalted Karazhan ring and the BT neck and after consideration I think the Solarian boots are made a bit redundant by the badge boots.

Tell me what you think.

Quite welcome.

I think the Maiden neck is clearly better than the brooch of deftness. I also happen to prefer it ouver the Frayed Tether, but I realize I may be a bit of an outlier on that one.

Where would the Jungle Stompers fit into this list? Didn't see any mention of those. I know they don't have the avoidance of the Elusion Boots. But the stam and the mitigation look fantastic.

Boots of Elusion --> Battlescar Boots --> (Boots of the Protector) --> (Sabatons of the Righteous Defender) --> Boots of the Resilient --> Tide-stomper's Greaves

I would say they would be before the sabatons.

This needs to be stickied imo.

I personally think the Faceguard of Determination should be on this list. As others have said, it has a bucket of avoidance on it which takes pressure off other gear choices. When you are looking to put more stamina in ring and trinket slots at T4 level, it makes those choices a whole lot easier.

Even if it's put at the start of the list, I do not believe it should be ignored.

The Medallion of the Alliance/Horde should be added to the trinket list. It does not do much apart from break situational fears and stuns once every 2 minutes, but I believe it should be added.

There you go, opinions of a T4 level person. :D

I think the language on what the arrow means should be moderated a little, as there are some reasonable disagreements even with those rankings (which I agree are good on the whole)...and the Brooch of Deftness really should be demoted. It looks great on the whole though, consider yourself stickied!

I'd have red havok boots as better than the boots of the protector, IMHO.

Honestly Orca, they are all good for different reasons hence the "==".

For Avoidance/HP -> Praetorians
For threat/overall -> T6
For AoE/HP -> Badge

I don't have the badge legs and I'm not sure I'll ever get them.

I have T5 and they are almost as good for AoE and while they are a good amount behind on HP, they are slightly ahead for mitigation and ahead for Threat.

If I bothered with the Badge legs, my threat and mana pool would drop too much for MTing because I use the badge chest. Plus I'm at 22000 HP fully buffed and I haven't reached the content level where the extra 4-500 HP will make that much difference. When I do get to that point I'll have Praetorian's or I'll be close to getting them.

When I get T5 Chest I will consider picking up the legs to replace my T5 legs in my AoE set.

oh i know its all different tasks and such, but you'd think end game content would drop better stuff for every [pve] aspect of the game than an item you can get w/o ever setting foot in a raid.

So where in the --> to --> do the Bonefist Gauntlets fit? My Op is that they are a sidegrade to or just below the Gauntlets of Enforcment. With a Defender's Tanzanite and Solid Empyrean Sapphire they would have 76 stam 35 parry and 21 hit. So a +5 stam and a ton of Parry increase but obviously you lose quite a bit of Def/BV and trade Expertise for Hit, still a pretty easy to get glove that ranks above T5 for mit/hp IMO.

I think it's great. It allows new up and coming paladins to catch up to the rest of the raiders a bit faster. Very hard to be a new (and only) paladin tank where all the warriors and druids are geared to their throat. At least now when i step into a raid with them there is not such a huge difference between us.
